ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Beyond Busking Project provides emerging musicians from underserved communities with training in songwriting, vocals, instruments, recording, video production and the business of music.
Our goal is to empower talented street musicians to become confident, skilled and professional artists who can create original music and build sustainable careers.
Through a structured programme, participants develop their artistic abilities, record original songs, shoot music videos and perform at a live showcase concert.
This project creates pathways to income, builds confidence, strengthens communities and preserves the rich musical heritage of the Western Cape.
